Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy focuses on helping you return to the daily activities that matter most, whether that’s taking care of yourself, thriving at work or school, or simply moving through your day with more ease.

We begin with a comprehensive evaluation to understand how injury, illness, or limitation is affecting your function. From there, we design a personalized treatment plan to improve your independence, restore movement, and support your ability to engage fully in your daily life.

Focus Areas:

  • Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, and grooming

  • Home modifications for safety and accessibility

  • Fine motor skill development

  • Upper extremity range of motion and strength

  • Hand and wrist injuries

Ergonomic Assessments

With many employees now working from home, it’s more important than ever to have a workspace that supports your body and prevents discomfort. An ergonomic assessment takes a thorough look at your home office setup to identify areas that may cause strain, poor posture, or overuse injuries.

Following the assessment, you’ll receive personalized recommendations in a written report, making it easy to adjust your workspace and reduce the risk of pain or injury while improving comfort and productivity.

Home Safety/Modification Assessments

Many older adults want to remain in the comfort of their own home as they age, but safety concerns can make that decision difficult for families. A home safety assessment helps identify potential risks and provides practical solutions to create a safer, more supportive environment for aging in place.

These assessments are especially valuable when families are deciding between options such as rehab, assisted living, or returning home after a hospital stay. Following the visit, you’ll receive a written report with personalized recommendations for home modifications, ensuring you have the tools and guidance needed to make the best decision for your loved one’s safety and independence.
