Physical Therapy

Physical therapy helps you recover from surgeries and injuries. It improves your walking, balance, and ability to freely move your body. Physical therapy improves overall balance and strength and can relieve pain. A comprehensive evaluation is performed to examine functional movement and determine the root cause of the injury/deficits. An individualized plan is then constructed to tailor a treatment and intervention plan of care to fit your needs and reach your goals related to injury/diagnosis.

Focus areas:

Prehab for Joint Replacements

The program requires 2-4 visits in the 2-4 weeks leading up to surgery to prepare you for surgery and have you at your strongest going in, in order to ease your recovery afterward. This program will guide you in the proper preparation and exercises required for surgery to give optimal functional outcomes post-surgery. The first visit is a convenient in-home assessment for baseline measurements. The following visits can be completed virtually or in person depending on your schedule and preference.

A condensed version is available if virtual visits are needed due to location or preference as well.
