STABILIZATION

1-2 WEEKS

Work on stabilizing the areas of the body that are most commonly used during the game to provide a strong foundation for more advanced strengthening and reduce risk of injury.

TARGETED MUSCLE STRENGTHENING

2-4 WEEKS

Targeted strengthening of muscles that are required for fielding, throwing and power hitting.

ON-FIELD MOBILITY TRAINING

4+ WEEKS

Exercises that are within a similar movement plane as live fielding or hitting to work on flexibility and power needed to advance the athletes game.

Background

The program is aimed to prevent injury and enhance performance on the field. It is customized to fit the needs of each individual athlete, and is available for people of all ages to build a strong foundation to perform at their best. It will involve total body training with a focus on stabilizing the muscles most commonly used during the game first. 

The program is designed for off-season or pre-season training, but there is a group rate offered for teams. Both this program and a smaller version for in-season training are available! These are remote programs through the virtual training portal. The portal allows our trainer, Kelly, 
to monitor each player's progress and has a chat feature.

Kelly played softball throughout childhood and high school. In the last few years, she has been coaching. Kelly knows how often overuse injuries happen. She started this program to help softball and baseball athletes avoid injury and help with resistance and strength training. She knows how much it hurts when an athlete can't play due to injury. Work with Kelly to reduce that chance!
